Terms of Service

Booo is a small, free list. These are the rules for using it.

Who this is with

Booo is a product of Awwesome Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Company number 09306432. It's run by Roy Quilor. To ask me anything, .

By using Booo you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.

What Booo is

Booo is a list of software companies where design has a say. It's my opinion, built from what each company shows on its own pages. It's free.

It doesn't promise you a job, an interview or a reply, and I don't control any company's hiring. Hiring changes daily, so always check the company's own careers page.

Taking it with care

I try to keep the list right, but I can't promise it's complete, current or free of mistakes. Use it as a starting point and check what matters to you.

The chat is an AI answering from my notes. It can be wrong, and it isn't advice of any kind, so don't rely on it for anything that matters.

Who can use Booo

Booo is for people aged 18 and over. If you're under 18, please don't use it or subscribe to it. That includes the chat.

How to use it

Use Booo like a normal visitor. Please don't scrape it in bulk, overload it, try to get past its protections, or use the chat to produce harmful, unlawful or abusive content. I can block anyone who does.

If you subscribe, use your own email address.

Who owns what

The words, the design and the Booo mascot belong to me and Awwesome Ltd. You're welcome to link to the site and share a page.

Company names, logos and the pages I link to belong to their owners. Booo isn't affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the companies it lists, and their appearance here doesn't mean otherwise. I'm not responsible for what's on their sites.

My responsibility

Nothing here limits what the law won't let me limit, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Beyond that, Booo is provided as it is. I'm not liable for loss that comes from relying on the list or the chat, or from the site being unavailable. It's free, and I keep it that way on purpose.

Changes and the law

I may change Booo or these terms. The date at the bottom shows when they last changed. Using Booo afterwards means you accept the new version.

These terms are under the law of England and Wales, and the courts there can settle any dispute. If you're a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you keep your own local rights.

What I do with your email address is on the privacy page.

Last changed 20 October 2026.
